PLAN A VISIT

You’re new! Thank you for exploring our website and what our church may have for you in your spiritual journey. If you are planning a visit, then this information will help.

WORSHIP

Our Sunday services are a key way for you to connect with God and with others who want to know God better.

We have two worship services:

  • Contemporary Service at 9 a.m.
  • Classic Worship at 11 a.m.

Once a quarter we have a HARMONY SERVICE at 10 a.m., which features the best of both worship styles and encourages the whole church family to come together in celebration.

CHILDREN

Children are always welcome in our services.

WHAT TO WEAR

We have no dress code, so you can come as in whatever is suitable and comfortable for you. You will see a full range of styles and tastes, from t-shirts and jeans, to suits and dresses.

OUR MUSIC

Our Contemporary Service at 9 a.m. features a praise band that provides a nice variety of music and worship moods, which encourages us to worship God freely and passionately. Bryan Watson is our praise band leader.

Our Classic Service at 11 a.m. features traditional hymns on either organ or piano, a full choir, and liturgy to guide us in a group experience of the majesty of God. Dr. Dave Liles, retired music faculty at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, is our choir director.  Amy Camillo is our organist and pianist.

THE MESSAGE

Regardless of service format, we hear the same scriptures and the same message by our pastor, Ross Slaughter, offering a positive message that is firmly biblical as well as practical to real life.

MONEY

If you are visiting for the first time, you are not expected to contribute to our ministry. If you decide to be with us for any length of time in exploration of our church or plan to join our church, your financial support is greatly appreciated to underwrite our ability to serve God as a church.
