Our Sunday morning worship offers two services: |
Traditional |
Contemporary |
Sunday School occurs between services Fellowship time is interspersed. |
Educational opportunities include but are not limited to Sunday Schools for all ages, an elementary chapel, mid-week youth programs, Lenten studies, small groups, prayer breakfast, Bible studies, teen fellowships, new member/confirmation classes, officer/teacher training, and participation in Presbytery, Synod, and General Assembly.
Outreach programs include community organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, youth and adult mission trips, Hot Meals, college ministry, grief share, support for missions and seminarians, care and compassion, AA, deacon’s shut-in visitation, women’s circle, concern group, retreats, Emmanus Walk, Promise Keepers, and Women of Faith.
Our strong music program is evident in both services. The traditional liturgical worship uses a Wilhelm tracker organ augmented with vocal, brass bell, and youth choirs, this service is preceded by the informal contemporary service held in the Church Fellowship Hall, all under the leadership of enthusiastic music director. Special programs such as the Christmas candlelight service and Maundy Thursday service are offered during the church year.
Examples of our congregational fellowship include an annual “Funcert,” summer picnic, Tables of Eight, cake auction, deacon’s fundraiser, and a fall gathering. |
